SBN Data Searchers

Small Bodies Cross-Identification Utility and Comet Cross-Identification Utility allow a user to input one (or part of one) official designation of a comet, asteroid, or other small body object to get a list of other names and designations associated with this object.

NEAR expert search allows a user to search through the data provided by the NEAR space mission whose main targets were asteroids 433 Eros and 253 Mathilde. The user can search by specifying the data type and/or details of interest on the targets or the observation.

Comet Data Searcher (Currently in development) allows a user to search through the cometary data archived at SBN that satisfy the criteria provided by the user (e.g. comet name, spectral range of observations, space mission name, instrument type, heliocentric distance, etc.).

Asteroid Data Ferret (Currently in development) allows a user to search for asteroid data that satisfy the criteria provided by the user (e.g. asteroid name, spectral range of observations, albedo, color, orbital characteristics, etc.).
